The runtime on WordPress.

Updates
With a licence key in place, new versions appear on the Plugins screen like any other plugin, with the changes listed under View details. The key is for updates only: a missing or lapsed key never changes what your site shows.
The library inside Etch
The plugin also puts the EtchPress library in the Etch builder. Click the EtchPress button in the tool rail on the left, or press Ctrl+Shift+L, then search, pick a variant and insert.
What the plugin does on your site
- Adds one small script, the EtchPress Motion stylesheet and a one-line flag in the page head. A showpiece's own script loads only on pages that use it.
- Loads the library panel in the Etch builder only, for people who can edit. Visitors never load it.
- Adds the licence page, for administrators only.
- Stores your licence key, your class prefix, your panel preferences (starred and recent items, settings), a record of what the panel put on each page and the starts you save, the share key of a page you share, which kit built a page or template, a copy of each template a kit replaced, the backup of your Automatic.css settings before a kit's import, and a short-lived copy of the library's list. Deleting the plugin removes them all and puts a shared page back as it was.
- It adds no database tables and reads no visitor data.
What it sends, and where
From your dashboard and scheduled update checks only, never from a visitor's request: your licence key, your site's address and the plugin version go to SureCart, which issues the licences and delivers the updates.
When you use the library panel, your site (not your browser) fetches the library's list from etchpress.com, and for each insert sends your licence key, its activation and your class prefix, so we can check the licence. Nothing about your pages or your visitors is sent.
