Kits in Etch Studio.
Etch Studio is Etch without WordPress. Every kit ships a folder made for it.
What is in the studio folder
- Every section, converted so it pastes into Studio.
- data-sources.json: the demo content, one set of rows per loop.
- The header, built on Studio's own navigation components.
- A short guide for that kit.
What is different from WordPress
- Loops read data sources, not post types. Create the data sources from data-sources.json before you paste a section that loops.
- True and false props are the words "true" and "false".
- There are no templates for single posts or archives; build those pages directly.
Styling
Kits are built on Automatic.css variables, which Studio does not have yet. Add the package's look.css and global.css as Studio stylesheets: the first carries the kit's tokens and shapes, the second its keyframes and the light and dark switch. The panel is WordPress only, so in Studio this is the route.
Showpieces in Studio
Showpieces work in Studio today. They need the runtime's files in your project's Asset Manager.
