Motion stylesheet

The one-time install behind every motion item: the keyframes (rise, fade, blur, scale, wipes, sweep, circle, block, fill, shine, aurora, marquee, count, stack, focus, and the glow buttons' pulse, sweep, flicker and flow), the registered properties they animate, the easing tokens (ACSS's presets when the site has them) and two spring easings sampled into linear(). Copy it, then in Etch open Styles, Stylesheets, add one named EtchPress Motion and paste. Free.

Motion stylesheet

What you can build with it

The one-time install behind every motion item in the library. Entrances, wipes and fills for your own elements, by keyframe name. Easing and spring tokens shared across a whole site.

Props

None. Install once per site: Copy, then Etch, Styles, Stylesheets, New, name it EtchPress Motion, paste, save. Every motion item then works by class; without it they show their finished state.

States shown

A stylesheet has no states. Every animation it defines ends at the element's own styles, so nothing depends on it to be visible.

How to change it

Paste it once as a global stylesheet. The easing and spring tokens sit at the top of the file: change them there and every motion item follows. Keyframes are named ep- so they cannot collide with yours.

ACSS tokens used

None. Names are prefixed ep- so they cannot collide with ACSS or your own keyframes.

ACSS requirements

ACSS 4 defaults. Etch 1.6 or later (global stylesheets).
