Header: pill
A floating pill: brand, navigation and a burger in a blurred capsule that hangs from the top of the page, with the button sliding in once the page has scrolled. Fixed on a site, in flow here so you can see it. The navigation is a slot holding Etch's own Nav and Burger (included).

What you can build with it
A floating header for a modern product or studio site. A header whose button appears once the visitor has scrolled. A light header over a full-bleed hero.
Props
brandName (text); brandHref (link); logo (image URL, optional); position (select: fixed, in flow); ctaLabel (text); ctaHref (link); ctaShort (text, the label at narrow widths); nav slot
States shown
Scrolled (the button slides in and the pill gains a shadow after 80px, script included); hover and focus on the brand; the button takes ACSS button states; Etch's nav states. Below 48rem the nav collapses behind the burger and the short button label shows at once.
How to change it
Content and options are 7 props in the component's settings panel, and what goes inside is a slot you fill with your own blocks. Colour, type, spacing and radius follow your Automatic.css settings, so a change to the site's palette or scale changes this too. For anything else, edit the classes in the Style Manager, starting with .etch-burger, .etch-nav, .pill-header. Its behaviour is a small script that travels with the component; no plugin and nothing to install.
ACSS tokens used
white, neutral-light, text-dark, primary-dark, text-l, text-s, space-s, space-m, radius-circle, box-shadow-2, box-shadow-3, focus tokens, transition, transition-duration, transition-timing
ACSS requirements
ACSS 4 defaults with the accessibility classes on. Uses btn–primary. Etch's Nav Basic and Burger come with the paste. The blur needs backdrop-filter (every current browser).
